testing the system. This may occur before start-up or anytime after
commissioning to verify operating characteristics and correlate them with
expected results. Surise may perform
power or energy tests depending on the specific project needs. Performance
verification may be done on-site or remotely using inputs from the data
acquisition system.

Performance verification is ideal for clients who need
documentation of baseline operating values to secure final funding, for a basis
of warranty claims, and for a comparison to future operating output to
determine system degradation over time.

system's operating performance before start-up, you are confirming system

Packages
For your convenience, we have prepared a summary of our two most
popular performance verification service packages. Each package is comprised of
specific on-site work and reporting completed by surise technicians. The types
of services offered can also be tailored to meet the specific needs of your
project. For example, we offer a full range of on-site testing services, but
for some projects, we may provide just a physical inspection and review of
testing documents that have been submitted by others.
Performance Verification Package – classic
System Inspection – Verify the system conforms to an as-built
plan set. Observe and report system
compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Open-circuit voltage (Voc) and Polarity Verification – PV source
and output circuits as needed.
System Output Performance Calculation – Instantaneous power vs.
expected power.
String Performance Testing – Operating current of PV source
circuits and/or output circuits.
Thermal Imaging – DC and AC wire terminations (as specified
before site visit).
Documentation and Reporting of all Tests and Procedures
*Assumes the system has been correctly commissioned before our
arrival; assumes insulation resistance testing has been completed during the
installation process.
